13 Things You Only Know if You're an Adult Disney Fan

3. YOU AUTOMATICALLY LIKE ANY BIG DISNEY FAN AND WANT TO BE THEIR BEST FRIEND.

If you spot someone in the workplace with a Disney sticker, you make a beeline for 'em ASAP. But the real test comes when you have to find out whether they're a "Yeah, I like Disney" kind of a fan or an "OH MY GOD – who's your favourite princess?!" kind of a fan. You always pray it will be the latter.

4. A BAD DAY? I'LL HAVE SOME DISNEY PLEASE.

Tissues, hot chocolate and a Disney movie on. Who can watch Finding Nemo and not feel better afterwards?

5. YOU MIGHT NOT ADMIT IT, BUT YOU ALWAYS WISH FOR ANIMALS TO HELP YOU CLEAN YOUR HOME WHEN YOU SING.

It's not fair. Where did they go?! All you need is a couple of friendly birds or some dish-washing squirrels, but the animals in your neighbourhood always seem to decide they have better things to do. Sigh

6. THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER 'FAN' TRYING TO OUT-DISNEY YOU, NOT ON MY WATCH.

Disney friends are nice, of course, but there's something that irks you slightly when a new person invades your conversation to share some Donald Duck-themed trivia that you already knew. They're playin' it cool but you can see what's going on here. You've got competition. "I'm the biggest Disney fan in the world!" they say, and you smile but know deep down in your heart that they are NOT, because that title was taken the day you were born.

7. DISNEY CHARACTERS HELPS GET THROUGH YOUR DAYS.

Who doesn't need some inspiration! Rapunzel? Always positive. Tiana? Best work ethic ever. Cinderella? Never gives up. When you're having one of those days where everything's going wrong, you always consider how your favourites would deal with the situation at hand. What would Belle do? You reckon she would stay calm (but argue her corner if she needed to), go for a walk to clear her head and then probably read a really good book when she got home. So that's what you'll do, too.

8. YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER GETS USED TO IT.

Any celebration, even your birthday is another chance to buy Cinderella-themed paper plates that might look out of place for an adult party (not for us). This kind of behaviour surprise your partner in the beginning but they get used to your obsession and just tend to go with it.
